Kaizoku-Con is a non-profit Japanese animation, Fantasy and Sci-fi convention held annually over the course of a weekend in the University College of Cork. Being one of the largest events of this kind in the south of Ireland, our aim is to provide a fun-filled weekend for our attendees that covers all areas of nerd and geek culture. 2014 was our very first year and was a huge success, bringing in over 800 attendees and raising over €2000 for charity. From panels about Japanese culture and cosplay workshops to games, competitions, a pub quiz, special guest signings and a large trade hall of specialist traders and artists, Kaizoku-Con has everything for fans of all ages.
Kaizoku-Con 2015 will be running from Friday the 27th of February to Sunday the 1st of March.
